[ALERT] [WILDERNESS] is now playable as a barebones build with only the map and basic commands running.
This is an intentional early test phase. For the next few weeks, we will performance test this build with real runtime and real player activity before progressively enabling additional systems.

What Is [WILDERNESS]?
[WILDERNESS] is an experimental modded no-team-limit project by Lone Wolf Rust that is radically different from our Solo server.
It is built around two core goals:
1) Player Freedom
- Heavily relaxed rules and reduced staff intervention.
- Toxic communications are generally allowed.
- Teaming is allowed.
- Organic Rust gameplay is the priority.
2) Balanced Innovation
- [WILDERNESS] is modded, but we are focused on practical quality-of-life improvements.
- No over-the-top gameplay (no absurd 1000x rates, flying cars, drug-business fantasy mods, etc.).
- We are balancing for long-term fun, player retention, and meaningful progression.
Anti-Cheat & Player Access
All Rust players without a Rust game ban on their current account are allowed to join.
- Active cheaters will be permanently banned.
- [WILDERNESS] gives us a live environment to further test and improve the Lone Wolf Rust Anti-Cheat System.
- This is a major departure from Solo Only, and a major opportunity to harden our systems even further.
Roadmap / Phases
- Current Phase 1: Bare Minimum Testing
Map, menus, team system, and ~5 menus are live for intensive bug/performance testing.
- Phase 2: Core Systems
Rollout of the core Quality of Life suite for testing.
- Phase 3: Environment & Reward Systems
Implementation of more intensive/custom systems for testing.
- Phase 4: Fixes, Tuning, and Last-Wave Systems
Final tuning for the first official wipe and full system activation.
